Pay Fixation under FR 22(a)(i) – On Promotion & AAS
Under FR 22(a)(i), when an employee is promoted or given an AAS scale, their pay is fixed as follows:
One increment in the lower scale.
Then fixation in the next higher time scale.
Existing Pay: ₹33,750/-
Increment (FR 22a(i)): ₹940/-
Pay Fixed: ₹34,690/- in higher scale
